Project Update

There is exciting momentum at Poupard Place in Northbrook. Construction is moving along beautifully, and this future permanent supportive housing community is quickly becoming a place where individuals will soon find stability, support, and a place to call home.

In our latest drone video shown below, you can see just how much has been accomplished. From the exterior taking shape to finishing touches underway inside, it is exciting to see this beautiful building come together.

We were recently honored to host Cook County Commissioner Scott Britton for a site visit. Seeing the progress in person made the impact of this development even more tangible. After his visit, Commissioner Britton shared that Poupard Place “will provide a safe and stable home for residents in the near future.” We are grateful for his support and for the partnerships helping bring this vision to life.

Leasing Has Begun!

Another big milestone: HODC’s property management team is now actively reviewing applications from potential residents. With more than 500 applications already received, the need for safe, stable, supportive housing is clear. Each application represents a person seeking a place to feel secure, rebuild, and move forward. This important step brings us closer to welcoming residents and opening the doors to a community designed to support long-term stability and opportunity.

We can’t wait to share more updates soon — including the announcement of our grand opening. The finish line is getting closer, and we are excited for the day we welcome residents home!
