Property Management

HODC’s property management department oversees the leasing, maintenance, and upkeep of over 500 units throughout the suburbs.

They run rental units owned by HODC, units that HODC developed in partnership with or for other entities, and third-party-owned properties. These properties range in size from 1 house to 99 units.

HODC accepts rental assistance vouchers (Section 8) and has many units that are handicapped accessible. Tenants served include families, seniors, persons with disabilities, individuals, homeless households and local workers.

Tenant Services

HODC provides Service Coordinators who act as a liaison between residents and supports including social service providers, property managers, government agencies, and family members.

HODC has many years of experience partnering with local supportive services agencies and arranging on-site services that residents may need to remain independent and live their best lives.
