HODC is excited to announce our new development, Zion Woods, in Deerfield, Illinois. Zion Woods will provide 25 affordable apartment homes for families who work in the area but cannot afford to live in Deerfield and to people living with a disability. Residents will also have access to supportive services provided by HODC’s professional management team.
A Commitment to Affordability and Sustainability
Zion Woods is a partnership between HODC, Brinshore Development LLC, and Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. The project is located on land donated by the church and will protect wetland habitat. The buildings will be certified green and will include Energy Star appliances.
“We are thrilled to partner with Brinshore Development and Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church to bring much-needed affordable housing to Deerfield,” said HODC Executive Director, Richard Koenig. “The ability to live in a safe and affordable home will make all the difference in the world for families and individuals at Zion Woods.”
