If you own your home and are behind on your mortgage or taxes because of COVID-19, you may be eligible to receive up to $60,000 from the Illinois Emergency Homeowner Assistance Fund. Homeowners who qualify may receive free emergency mortgage assistance paid directly to their mortgage service.
