The finishing touches are complete and our first residents are moving in! We received over 600 applications for 48 units.

Poupard Place is a new construction 48-unit apartment building in Northbrook. The development was made possible by the Village of Northbrook donating the land to HODC.

This supportive housing project is home to low income households and persons who have a disability or households with a family member who has a disability. Rents are affordable to households earning less than 60% of area median income (AMI). One bedroom rents start at $700. Two bedroom rents start at $900, and three bedroom rents start at $1,100.

Completed in June of 2026, this property is located near a variety of restaurants, shops, and amenities, including a grocery store, public library, medical facility, schools and parks. It is also near a Pace Bus line and the Metra station. The surrounding area offers a robust job market, with opportunities in diverse sectors such as education, construction, manufacturing, healthcare, social assistance, transportation, and warehousing.

Poupard Place was developed by Housing Opportunity Development Corporation with Skender Construction (contractor) and Cordogan, Clark & Associates (architect).

All apartments include energy star kitchen appliances, ceiling fans, and window treatments. HODC manages the property and coordinates any needed supportive services with local service agency partners for residents.
