HODC purchased and rehabilitated this four-flat apartment building in 2000 with support from local investors and the Chicago Community Loan Fund. In 2010, the City of Evanston awarded federal HOME Program funds to complete a full interior renovation, including brand-new kitchens, bathrooms, and mechanical systems. Thanks to a grant from the Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation, a solar thermal hot water system was also installed, improving energy efficiency and reducing utility costs. Each unit features a private outdoor patio, and residents have access to a four-car garage on-site.
