WINGS Apartments

HODC provided development consulting to assist the nonprofit WINGS Program Inc. in the purchase and rehab of this building which opened in July 2003. The building’s units have a newly remodeled kitchen and bathroom as well as a spacious living room. The building also has a community room in the basement for case management staff and tenants. WINGS provides case management services to tenant families. The project was funded by HUD, Illinois Housing Development Authority, Grand Victoria Foundation, Kraft Employee Fund, Village of Skokie, and the Federal Home Loan Bank.
