North Suburban Supportive Housing (NSSH)

Thanks to funding from IHDA under the Permanent Supportive Housing Program, which helps persons with disabilities live in community based settings, HODC was able to acquire these four properties out of foreclosure starting in 2014 following the Great Recession. These existed scattered site small buildings were purchased and rehabilitated to offer permanent supportive housing program under the Illinois consent decrees. Supportive services are provided by local social service agencies.
